Lifeline Service Offerings

As part of its service offerings, Oregon Farmers Mutual Telephone Co. offers the Lifeline Program to assist qualifying low income individuals with the charges for their telephone service. This program is part of the Federal Universal Service Fund program instituted by the Federal Communications Commission and overseen by the Universal Service Administrative Company.

You may qualify for Lifeline Discounts on your telephone service if you or someone in your household participates in one of the following programs: MO HealthNet, Supplemental Nutrition Assistance, Supplemental Security Income,  Federal Public Housing Assistance, or 135% of the Federal Poverty Level.

You may qualify for Disability Discounts on your telephone service if you or someone residing in your household is blind or disabled and receiving benefits from one of the following programs:  Veteran Administration Disability Benefits, State Blind Pension, State Aid to Blind Persons, Federal Social Security Disability or State Supplemental Disability Assistance.
